Terry is a graduate of Lincoln University, New Zealand and has been a pioneer in horticultural quality assurance. Terry has helped a variety of horticultural businesses to comply with quality, food safety and quarantine requirements.

Damien joined Rudge Produce Systems in 2008. Bringing with him a thorough understanding of vegetable production and the way the industry works. Among other things he is responsible for managing the residue testing programs we operate on behalf of National Residue Survey and Victorian DPI. Damien’s “can-do” approach is highly valued by his colleagues and our customers.

Carolyn has over 30 years’ experience in customer service and administration. Since 2002 she has been the voice of Rudge Produce Systems and has made sure that reports go out right. Carolyn is the person to talk to about planning your produce testing requirements.

With a degree in Food Science, Katia joined the Rudge team in October 2019 as our QA Officer, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in Food Production, Quality Control and Food Safety Systems.

MASSIMO NETTIS

After earning a Degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies Massimo worked as an Agronomist in Italy before moving to Australia in 2016. His Australian experience includes managing the production area of a lettuce farm. Massimo has a strong foundation in fresh produce and his role at Rudge Produce Systems includes assessments of imported and export produce.
MATTHEW DI GRAZIAMelbourne
Matthew joined Rudge Produce Systems in 2021, bringing with him 10 years’ experience in fresh produce retail. Matthew’s role at Rudge Produce Systems includes assessments of import and export produce.
TORI FICARRASwan Hill
Tori has been farming in the Swan Hill district all his life. For much of this time he has been involved in selling grapes, stone fruit and vegetables in the Melbourne Market. Tori really knows his stone fruit and is responsible for our preshipment inspection program in Swan Hill.

NASSER ABDI

After a distinguished academic career in Iran, Nasser completed his PhD at the University of Western Sydney. Nasser has been Rudge’s post harvest specialist since 2003. Nasser organises inspections of produce in the Sydney basin and is responsible for ethylene and pathological testing services for customers.

JON BREWER
JON BREWERBrisbane
Jon has worked in the Brisbane Markets since 1990. He held sales positions with various wholesalers before joining Market Information Services in 1996, when he became Rudge’s representative in Brisbane. Now operating as Brisbane Market Produce Surveyors, Jon’s team looks after Rudge’s program of inspections of imported, export and domestically traded produce.

Rudge Produce also provides services to the Mareeba, Gatton and Stanthorpe areas of QLD.

CRAIG FEUTRILLAdelaide
Craig specialised in horticulture and entomology at University and has worked for various grower organisations over the past 20 years. Craig became our Adelaide representative in 2007.

Rudge Produce also provides services to the Riverland area of SA.

Chris is a graduate of Lincoln University, New Zealand and brought his expertise to the West in 1989. He has considerable experience in a range of quality systems and working knowledge of a wide variety of produce. Rudge has had the benefit of Chris’s knowledge and professionalism since 1998.
FRANK HOLMES
FRANK HOLMESPerth
Frank Holmes is a former buyer and quality controller with over 35 years of horticultural industry experience in management, operations and administration at retail, wholesale and distribution level. He has also designed and developed systems for data collections management and reporting of lab testing and maturity testing, Frak is an appointed inspector under the Biosecurity and Agricultural Management Act 2007 (WA).
DANIEL BURTON
DANIEL BURTONPerth
Daniel started worked for TQAS in 2013 following previous employment in a microbiology laboratory, He has been co-ordinating our industry program of chemical and microbial testing of horticultural produce with assists primary producers in WA to meet the requirements of Freshcare, SQF, HARPS and other quality standards. He also currently manages maturity testing of fruit. He is an appointed inspector under the Biosecurity and Agricultural Management Act 2007 (WA). Daniel is our key liaison contact person within the Perth fresh wholesale market.
